Praise God that the spread of the virus appears to be slowing down in Australia. Ask the Lord to comfort Maria and Carmel and the wider family as they grieve the loss of Maria’s husband, Graham. Continue to pray for the Lord’s strength and comfort for Gavin, Alana and Adam in their time of loss. Pray that God would give the leaders of this nation and of each state, territory and local council great wisdom in setting boundaries, policing them and in caring for the constituents. Pray that God would provide for those who are left without employment during this difficult and trying time. Ask the Lord to provide for them and to give them peace in tumultuous times. Pray for those, like Phyllis and others, who are locked down in nursing homes. Ask the Lord to grant them peace, confidence in God’s sovereign rule and the ability to rejoice in Christ through this time.
